Verdict: the Y3 is the walking pad we'd pick for incline walking at home: brushless (claimed under 35 dB), 0–12% automatic incline from the remote, 1–10 km/h and a 150 kg limit, at 21 kg. What's good
- Quiet incline. It pairs automatic incline with a brushless motor, which is the combination most people want for a home office.
- Capacity. 150 kg is the highest limit among the walking pads, matched only by the Folding Q8 treadmill.
- Weight. 21 kg is manageable for an incline machine (the Y1 is 26 kg).
What's less good
- Height. At 15 cm it won't slide under as many sofas as the 9.7 cm Z3.
- Handrail stock. If you want the handle, the handrail version and Folding Y3 were both sold out when we checked.
- Handrail can't be added later. The retailer says the handrail isn't sold separately.
